I just setup a homemade NAS using OpenMediaVault 3.0 software. I wanted it to pull files from by VB 2.4 to automatically backup my Music folder using rsync. Probably down the road as I make system changes I would just host the flac files only on the NAS.

1} I believe rsync needs to be installed on both sides. I tried to install rsync on the VB using the setup-rsync command as shown in the wiki, however that just returns an error msg so I believe that cmd is outdated on 2.4 but in researching further I believe I read that rsync is now already preinstalled in 2.4, is that correct? (My Linux skills are basically limited to cut & paste.)
