Boot failed - no operating system

Hi.

I want to install vortexbox on an HP N54L, its a miniserver, getting on a bit but still fully functional.

I have created the USB and made it bootable however the HP just complains when I try and boot from USB 'boot failed, missing operating system.

I dont appear to have a way to move forward can anyone help?

I don't know if that is true. Certainly nothing has been updated in a while. But it might be. (and sorry, I don't know enough to assist with your issue. VB 2.4 will certainly install currently on some computers, so not sure what the issue is with your install attempt.)

Yea I am having trouble as well with 2.5 and getting same error on a HP mini desktop
