Metrum Acoustics Musette DAC : is it compatible with VB?

Hi,
I am thinking of feeding a Metrum Acoustics Musette DAC from my VB through USB but I wonder if it is compatible with my machine. I am presently running VB version 2.3, Fedora release 20 (Heisenbug). I checked with the current compatible DACs list and no Metrum Acoustics DACs are listed. Any input would be appreciated!

can't say for sure, as I don't have one, but it would be the rare USB DAC that would NOT work with vortexbox and its built-in squeezelite player.
