Expand storage doesnt seem to be working

i am not sure what agillis is saying. you are on 2.3, right? Those instructions *do* work to expand storage with 2.3, because wirunna and myself have followed them with success (but I did it with 2TB drives and wirunna with 4TB, your mileage may vary with a 6tb drive ,i don't know). I suggest you follow the instructions on the archived forum and see how you get on

good luck. when following the commands, obviously check the precise results you get back from the command line and if necessary amend the wording of the next commands you give, to match your configuration.. I had to do that because my install was slightly different to that shown in the instructions (my VB is an initial 2.0 build ,upgraded at various times to 2.3 ,NOT a clean 2.3 install)

I had simply forgotten the steps but then everything worked out wonderfully.

Is there any possibility this issue could be resolved? If yes, is there some step by step guide I could follow?

I want to build another cd ripper with around 4-6TB storage but am afraid I will face the same issue of not being to expand the storage.
